The KS04 series concealed cabinet hinge is constructed from 304 stainless steel with a black electroplated finish. It incorporates a two-stage soft-closing hydraulic cylinder and a quick-mount base plate, suitable for kitchen cabinets, wardrobe doors, and furniture installed in humid environments. The hinge supports three mounting configurations: full overlay, half overlay, and inset, covering most standard cabinet door layouts.
The hinge body, arm, and mounting base are manufactured from SUS 304 stainless steel. This material grade provides corrosion resistance suitable for kitchen and bathroom environments where moisture and cleaning agents are regularly present.
A built-in hydraulic cylinder controls the closing motion of the door. During the first stage, the door moves freely under manual force. As it approaches the closed position, the damper engages and decelerates the door gradually, preventing impact between the door and cabinet frame.
The base plate attaches to the cabinet side panel separately from the hinge arm. The hinge arm clips onto the base plate with a single press, reducing installation time per door. Release tabs allow tool-free removal for servicing or panel finishing.
The black surface is applied through an electroplating process over the stainless steel substrate. This finish provides a uniform dark appearance and adds an additional layer of corrosion protection to the base material.

Installation requires a 35 mm diameter bored hole in the door panel at the specified distance from the edge. The hinge cup presses into this bore and is secured with screws. The mounting plate is fastened to the cabinet side panel using the provided screw positions. Once both components are fixed, the hinge arm clips onto the base plate. Side-to-side and depth adjustments are available via the adjustment screws on the hinge arm, allowing precise door alignment after installation.
These hinges are specified by cabinet manufacturers, joinery shops, and commercial procurement teams for kitchen cabinetry, bathroom vanity units, wardrobe doors, and office storage cabinets. The 304 stainless steel construction makes them appropriate for coastal installations and facilities with elevated humidity levels. Furniture producers working on hospitality projects, apartment developments, and institutional kitchen fit-outs can standardize on this hinge model across multiple product lines to streamline sourcing and after-sales support.
The number of hinges depends on door height and weight. For standard residential cabinet doors up to 1000 mm in height, two hinges per door are typical. Taller or heavier doors may require three or more hinges for proper support.
The electroplated black finish is bonded to the stainless steel substrate. Normal opening and closing motion does not contact the visible exterior surfaces, so finish wear is primarily associated with abrasive cleaning or physical impact rather than routine use.
304 stainless steel offers moderate corrosion resistance. For fully exposed outdoor applications, additional sealing or a higher-grade stainless steel may be more appropriate. These hinges are designed primarily for indoor kitchen and bathroom use.
The hydraulic damper is integrated into the hinge arm assembly. Individual damper cartridges are not serviceable separately. In commercial maintenance scenarios, the complete hinge arm can be replaced while retaining the existing mounting plate.
